7th March 2005, Aiden

A lady from Oxford University Press was in contact on Friday.
They want to use one of my pictures in a book.
It was a picture of Aiden,
one of my favourite pictures of him in fact.
He was not very well at school today,
so I collected him and took him home.
He seems alright now though,
bouncing on the bed.

I looked at this while in the USA and thought I'd commented - not so I see now - however, I would like to record for posterity that it's f*cking wonderful!!!

Great shot! Beautiful lightning on his face! He is really growing up, isn't he! Sorry that it's been awhile I've visited your galleries. So cool that someone will use your photo in a book! I'm jealous!

Very nice of Aidan--love the sprinkling of freckles. Bouncing on the bed, huh, means he's happy to be home.

This is so lovely, I mean "What a handsome young man!"…I think you should talk to Mrs. N about having more beautiful children!

Congratulations on the possible sale! That's great news.

Children seem to bounce back easily after they are sick. Very lovely portrait. I love the light and shadow play against his face. I can see why someone would want to publish it in a book.

nice shot, how did the Oxford Uni come across your pic then?

This is absolutely superb. The lighting astounds me.
I was approached by OUP (Hong Kong) but they were not prepared to give me anything.
