1st October windy spot...

Hooray, my new camera came back this afternoon.
I went up for a walk through the woods to Daviot stone circle,
assisted by Aiden who helped me set up the 'camera pod' as he calls it.
We took lots of pictures,
but the one he liked best for today was this one,
I took it this morning with my trusty old camera!

other sizes: small medium large auto

Yeah! You're camera's back! And Aideen is a good assistant. But this shot is proof you don't need a fancy camera to take great pictures...

voilà un arbre certainemet très vieux qui s'est plié au caprice du vent. C'est une très belle photo.

Could have been the perfect shot for "little boy pushing large tree over in triumph of strength" moment! Although it's worked well as it is too!

I like that graphic "sectioned" hillside in the background with the tree leaning, looking so off balance, but, in reality, disciplined by the wind...(I'm writing a piece on visual messages and can't get off the process lest I lose "flow".... :^)

It's never windy around here, oh no sir.

Nice contrast between the tree & the bright sky.
