16th August, Lairig Ghru

Went over to Aviemore for a couple of days,
yesterday
this is the Lairig Ghru pass.
At the other end of it is Braemar.

very interesting to see this area in its summer glory and nice lighting you have
there. i admit to feeling surprised that these hills are not "greener" in colour
as i have only ever seen this area in winter and always imagined that summer would
bring more gree to the hills. i guess the heather was out?
