This gallery will be an ongoing project as these baby grow up. I will visit the den area regularly until they leave.
The mother fox here has been in this den under the railway track for some years. It's just on the edge of town and they are very used to people. We see the adult around the area all year long. As long as we stay on the road, across the ditch from the den, the mother and little ones don't seem to mind our presence. I hope you enjoy these images, I sure enjoy taking them. These pictures are not technically perfect(composition, lighting) in any way but I feel that they represent something I am privileged to see and that's why I want to share them with everyone interested. Any comments are welcome.
UPDATE ON JUNE 11:
Hi everyone, to all of you who followed this ongoing project, and to everyone else that might look at it for the first time, I have to tell you that this has been a blast to watch these babies grow up. As you can see in the last pictures that I uploaded, they are getting pretty big. They move around a lot and the mother moves them from one hideout to another. I will keep trying to take pictures of this family everyday but I think it will get harder.
