Thank you for your kind words. The Garden City Bird Sanctuary is in Garden City, NY (Long Island) of course, on Tanner's Pond Road, which runs parallel to Nassau Blvd a few blocks West. I can give you detailed directions depending on where you're coming from, but you can also contact Rob Alvey @516 326-1720 (Robalvey@aol.com). He basically takes care of the place, organizes things and is the Editor of the Newsletter. GCBS is actually an abandoned sump, believe it or not. It's not very big but that's part of its charm.
