Canada West: Landscapes

This gallery is a tribute to the light and beauty of the varied landscapes of south western British Columbia; the foothills, and Rocky Mountains of Alberta. The photos were made principally in the spring and autumn of 2005 through 2014. A variety of lens were used including the wide 24-70 f/2.8 L, 24mm T&S, to the long Canon 500 f/4 L IS. Your images truly capture the beauty that is Alberta, and B.C. As a native Albertan, I have become somewhat jaded to the typical 'tourista' photos that abound on postcards, tourism guides, etc. Your outstanding use of composition, color, light, and no doubt, editing software, shows this country as it truly is, "magnificent". I have not seen a better photo essay on this subject. You, sir, are a talented artist with an amazing sense of color and light. Kudos!
