In downtown Flushing,on and around Main Street, a new Chinatown has been born. There is vibrant life around vendors, political activists, fruit and vegetable stores, restaurants, shops, and malls. Many modern young Asian people try to fit into this place in America with their trendy looks. Families grow and move into surrounding areas to pursue the American dream. Some of these photos have been exhibited at the Voelker Orth Museum.The photo of the skateboarder is in the collection of the Voelker Orth Museum. I have made a Blurb book with this title.
