Old Mine Road along the Delaware River is a scenic meandering road where the speed limit is only 15 mph in most sections. It runs through Worthington State Forest and is one of the oldest continually used roads in the U.S. It is called the road to nowhere because it's not a road you would ever take to reach a destination by a certain time. It is meant for sightseeing and taking in the nature that surrounds it. My friends Linda and Kathy and I decided to take it on yesterday despite very drizzly weather and gray skies. This is an old bridge on the road that is no longer in use. The new bridge sits right behind it.
