My Great Grandmother and my Grandfather

This photo was taken around 1900 or 1901, when my grandfather was 2 or 3 and his mother, Victoria, was 21 or 22. My grandfather's birth father is listed on his baptism record and then there is no record of him after that. Roughly two years later, Victoria married a widower who was 18 years her senior and who had 4 children under the age of 12. This photo would have been taken around the time of her marriage. The marriage did not last, because by 1905 (New Jersey Census) she and my grandfather were living with her mother.
I think Victoria was born before her time. She lived most of her life as a single lady, and judging by all the photos I have of her, she was happy. The family rumor is that she had many friends in show business.

Its a great shame that we can't ask those questions of her. Does she have any 'show business friends' listed in later censuses. The 1910 national census as well as those of 1920, 1930 and 1940 are available on Ancestry and if you give me your GGM's name I'm happy to look for you.
