The dock at Little Swartswood Lake. At the time this was taken (April) there were a pair of nesting American Bald Eagles in one of the trees you see in the background. The white object in the water is one of the markers that lets boaters know they cannot go past the roped off area. This is so the Eagles will not be disturbed and abandon their nest.

Wonderful composition! It's hot where I live now and this looks (actually I look at it and feel this) like the "dog days of summer-really hot & muggy-what a wonderful place to find relieve from summer (even though you shot in spring)! Really nice
