Tripod Rock, a “glacial erratic” is an enormous 160 - 170 ton boulder believed to have been deposited by a glacial ice sheet around 12,000 years ago. It sits atop 3 smaller boulders on the side of Pyramid Mountain in Boonton, NJ.
