DSC_0502.jpg

I had the luxury of working from home today and foregoing my usual 2-3 hour commute, so I had time to run down to the little park across from the library to take some photos of the Christmas tree. Those didn't turn out so well, but while I was there, I was astonished to see a small shrub with blooms and buds still on it. The flowers have rust spots, but I think they are still beautiful. I made the mistake of way under exposing, so had to resort to much PP to get an acceptable image.

The decaying of beauty. A sad reality and a beautiful photograph. ~V~

I like this, you did great work as it's a wonderfully evocative shot of late blooms. V
