Nate on 403 Main (runnel start)

Nate led this starting on a 12 inch wide
runnel that ends top left in the frame. He got a bad
12cm screw 10 feet off the deck, then a couple
TCU's in some hopefully frozen rock before he
got to the easy vertical ice!!! Placing a screw here, he is
almost through the steep and hollowish section. A good lead.
I fell 8 feet off the ground when my picks popped out of the thin
ice.

yeah, that's very true. That dribble was fat at the end of the season. I don't think it ever really diminished. lol you can jam if you have your foot in to your ankle, though.

I was actually meaning the dribble on the side. The main flow did get thicker too, its too bad it never really got anymore solid. Nothing quite like kicking ankle deep into mush.

sure did fatten up. Though even when it was really thick the water ate the inside out from all the salt!

Ahhh, early season ice. That thing did eventually fatten up near the end of the season.
