This is the view form the top of 6100ft Grizzly Mountain, in the Richthofen Range 2 hrs outside Whitehorse in the Yukon. Given there was only about 2000 odd ft of vertical climb because my base camp was around 4000ft ASL. But it was a good end to my week of solo climbs. I had progressed up from a 4700ft, 4900ft, 5600ft, then Grizzly. What can be seen from the makeup of the summit plateau is that it is loose rock and snow. The last 200ft of the climb was like this with patches of ice which made it much more difficult then the less technical steep scrambling that got me to the top of the other heights. It was a first big climb of this nature for me and solo none-the-less. I look forward to doing more.
