This Interstate Cadet aircraft is being flown by Kent Pietsch. His humorous airshow act has him losing parts of the airplane as the skit goes on. The Yellowknife airshow was run by my unit, so I was an escort officer for Kent. Besides providing a bag of flour which he tied to his wingtip for a powdery explosion later, I also helped him tape a fake aileron to the right wing and load other fake parts into the aircraft which he threw out during the show. The act itself was awesome and the crowd ate it up. In this shot by Jaclyn, you can see the aileron missing and a tire falling. As a reward Kent took me up post airshow and we spun holes in the sky. His dancing on the controls was like no flying I've ever seen, neither was the proximately to the ground in which we did the manoeuvres.
