One of the numerous float planes in the Yellowknife area attempts a takeoff in Back Bay near Old Town Yellowknife. The attempt was unsuccessful and it had to take another run at it. Floats are very heavy and the drag from the water can prevent enough lift from being generated for takeoff. It's not an issue if you have lots of space to slow down and retry.
