Blake and I led this in three tiny pitches (20ft).The first was pretty manky with blake slinging a far too light icicle and finally placing a screw on top.
Second pitch ended with a tiny nut, a manky screw and a bomber tree to bring blake up on (which he did sans ice tools and crampons...we're too poor to have 2 sets).
The third pitch, which follows the left, upermost rock, was my lead and was the best lead for me thus far.
Fantastic ice with some great rock pro on the side (thank god for blue tricams).
Toping out felt amazing. Thanks to Blake for his patience and his sense of humour!
