Last time I was there the chai khanna was still there, but the building had been rebuilt into a small mall. You know Peshawar so well... do you remember there always seemed to be a broken water pipe on left spraying water.

You are right Nia Ali there was jewller shop side by side of that shop.....and a sharbat seller in front..these kid are going straight toward that shop and they will find on left corner.....it has been five year i am out of peshawar i do not know if is still there???

Right at the start of Jhanda bazzar (coming from Hasthnagri), there used to be a shop preparing and selling fried vermicelli in round shapes (phenian in urdu and mencho kakoray in pushto), I am not sure if it is still there?
