when i see this pictur it remind me even the week when this snap was taken....The movie name is BAHGI SARDAR....that was the only week when an Urdu movie was shown in Pictur house cinema of Peshawar

This picture push me back . The movie name is BAGHI SARDAR,hero was Mohammed Ali and the film was running in PIcture house Cinema. This spot fixed for picture house cinema just in front of CHATTERING BIRD SHOP.
On the write side of street Rauf sons tea seller can be seen...on the corner a movie poster is placed....any one know the name of the movie.....the hero of the movie is HABIB. the film was shown in Picture House cenema....it was back and white movie

Yes I have seen that ppicture, I wasn't sure about the location of that. But I was just guessing that it is Batair Bazaan.
You are right brother, life away from homeland is not easy, but the liabilities & responsibilties won't allow us to break these shackles.

I appreciate all your comments and any info you add. I almost feel as we are walking in the bazaars together (in a past time). I too, love Peshawar. I has become my city and I will never really be comfortable in this bakwas usa.

Until around early 90s there were bird seller shops at the start of dal garan bazaar coming off Chowk Yadgaar(just to the left of this picture), but all those bird sellers have moved near Kohati Chowk (going towards Dabgari from Kohati Chowk) now. Thats why this area is still called as Batair Baazan.
