Eid Malad (the celebration of the birth of The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)) could be equated to the Muslim Mardis Gras in Pakistan. The bazaars are completely decorated and lit up. There is religious music and parades. The streets swarm with people. Many people, especially women and children view from upper story windows.
