Stainless Outfitters - Barrie, Ontario

.

Ron Schryver wrote 10.9.07 :

For the past two years I've coordinated the bulk ordering of swim platforms for Nonsuch owners. To date there have been over a dozen swim platforms purchased. Well, it's that time again and I would like to ask if there is any interest for doing a repeat order this year.

The following represents the current pricing. Please note that it is expressed in Canadian dollars and is exclusive of taxes and shipping

$ 1185 platform without slats

$ 1395 platform with StarBoard slats attached

$ 320 new ladder to integrate with stern rail & incl. StarBoard steps

$ 375 alternative telescoping ladder mounted under platform & incl. StarBoard steps
(note: ladder extends 40" down into the water)

None made for 22s so have yet to determine what width these will be

Dimensions for the 26s, 260s, 30s, and 324s are 62-66in wide X 20in deep

Dimensions for the 33s, 354s, and 36s are 70-74in wide X 20in deep

Info re StarBoard . . . http://www.kingstarboard.com/Default2.aspx

Ladder:
manufacturer can create a ladder that will integrate with an existing pushpit rail or attach a telescoping ladder that stows under the platform

Customizing:
Stainless Outfitters will make custom modifications as requested, ask for John Bamford

Installation:
see John Bamford’s installation guide (to be added)

Considerations . . .

Height:
ensure that the platform is mounted at a height that allows the ladder to integrate with the existing pushpit rail

Ensure that the platform is mounted high enough that the top of the platform is above water when powering/sailing hard as our boats tend to squat underway

Location:
prior to drilling for any of the mounting brackets ensure that there are no obstructions on the inside of the transom

How do you get one:
once a year, in September, Ron Schryver ( alphaw@sympatico.ca ) will solicit owners to see if there is enough interest (minimum 5 units) to place a group order (to thus obtain a discount) with John Bamford of Stainless Outfitters located in Barrie, Ontario

Construction of the platforms begins in February and they are shipped via Fedex by the end of March. John will contact each customer to determine shipping and tax details

otherwise, order anytime but pay more money

How much:
2007 Prices platform without StarBoard slats $ 1,185
platform complete with white StarBoard slats $ 1,395

Above prices are in Canadian dollars and are exclusive of shipping, handling and taxes
