Dave bought his 36 in 2009. During the winter of 2009/2010 he had her hull and deck refinished at Northshore Boatworks in Oakville ON.

Norm lost his previous boat in a terrible yard fire at Island YC in the winter of 1987. After the glow had burned his and many other yachts, he got a new 36 in 1988. He sold his 36 many years later and since then has sailed SUCH MAGIC 30U from Island YC.
