We bought our 36 about five and a half years ago and in that time have restored it to near new condition. The boat came with a boom crutch which got whacked every time you tacked. When we test sailed the boat it was not a noticeable issue but after buying it we found, by trial and expensive error, that the boat could not be sailed with the crutch. We replaced all electronics and rebuilt all the systems that did not work like the Webasto, the water maker, the sail track, etc. It has been an expensive project but worth it. Beautiful new upholstery, new stove, all bright work stripped of cetol and given twenty coats of Epiphanes. Plus lots of other stuff. The boat is our movable condo . . . on the water. The first week in February we are heading down the coast for five days.

We went to the Newport 2008 Rendevous and we are planning to attend the Kingston 2010 Rendezvous . . . without our 36 of course.
