John & Catherine live in Ottawa and wisely moor their lovely 33 a two hour drive away on the upper St. Lawrence River.

Their club http://www.trident-yc.ca is 30 km / 20 mi east of Kingston ON, north of Clayton NY (on the U.S. side of the "The River") and not very far west of the centre of Gananoque ON, which in turn is a bit west of the Ivy Lea Bridge. Trident is on the north shore of Bateau Channel two thirds of the way east along the north side of Howe Island.

The 80 km / 50 mile stretch of "The River" east from Kingston is the beautiful and famous Thousand Islands and locals are called "Islanders".
