John & Pat sail their 30U from the Frenchmen's Bay YC . . . http://www.fbyc.ca/ . . . 22 nm east of Toronto. Bill, John's son, also sails aboard MERMAID III and they won the 30 class at the Kingston 2002 Rendezvous. Though "scored" 3rd, they were really tied for second with JUNO 30C 12 at the Toronto 2006 Rendezvous. The Frenke family are great sailors, great sportsmen, and just great people !

John & Bill sailed MERMAID III 30U to 3rd in Class in the 2007 Lake Ontario 300. Two other Nonsuches also competed and did well despite the VERY light winds.
