Notice, in the pix, the arrangement at the top of the rudder post to turn the outboard motor in the same direction as the rudder, GREATLY improving maneuverability under power . . . especially at low speeds. My 22 has wheel steering so there is no tiller, which also helps make viewing the details around the head of the rudder post much easier.


This 22 sails from Pointe-Claire YC on the St. Lawrence River at the western tip of Isle Montreal, in Quebec. Lake St. Louis is part of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
