I have enjoyed your comments in the Naiad 18 Gallery and noticed you were trying to locate current owners. I purchased HIN ZL086186F686 named AMBROSIA (the gallery has some shots of her on land) from the Block Island Maritime Institute this past summer and have been upgrading the woodwork and paint, although she was in very good condition to start with. She has a carbon fiber mast and sail number 2.
She now has 8 coats of Bristol Varnish and a new cove stripe. I don't have to tell you she is a great sail. I have also added traditional bronze oarlocks which make it possible to row with 9 1/2' sculls and a seat atop the centerboard trunk. I sail/row her in Greenwich Bay, RI.
I'll take some current photos and get them to you in both sailing and rowing configuration. Good winter exercise and obviously the rowing is for exercise, not speed! Thank you for your efforts to track down these boats. I'll be glad to contribute to an association should you start one.
