This photograph, along with other lookout images from December 16 & 17, 2006,
was taken with a Canon 70-200 mm f4/L telephoto lens set at full telephoto, 200 mm.
On the Canon 400D camera body, this provides a telephoto equivalent of approximately 320 mm.
Aperature-priority mode is used, set to give a shutter speed of 1/4000th
of a second, as compensation for the aircraft speed of about 115 to 120 mph.
