These mountains extend in a NW-SE direction between the N shore of Lake Chelan
and the Methow valley. They are, for the most part, contained in the
Lake Chelan/Sawtooth Wilderness. This region is reknowned for its wonderful system of trails,
horse packing, and the beautiful high and dry country of the eastern North Cascades.
