The River Aare, surrounds the city that is set in a peninsula. Bern is the capital of Switzerland and contins the house of parliament. With only 130,000 inhabitants, it is really a small city. Old Town, is cobbled streets, and is unchanged since the medieval times. Bern is the home of Münster, the tallest steeple cathedral.
