A few photos taken at Wakita, Oklahoma at the Twister Museum, on 19 August 2006. As this was a favorite movie of mine, I had to visit Wakita. GREAT Museum! They have the original "Dorothy I" there. Wakita was featured toward the end of the movie. The town was very smart, having the movie company, tear down many of the abandoned houses in town, which were dragged downtown for the final scenes. Later, the movie company cleaned up the "damage" and hauled it all away. One good way to clean up your town!
