Photos are of the 2011 Council Camporall, held at New Mexico Military Institute on 1-3 April. A Webelos to Scout Crossover was held by the Order of the Arrow team. Saturday events were held and ran by the Cadets, such as swimming, bowling, air rifle shooting, compass courses, and paintball shooting, as well, as several others. There was an all day Saturday training session held for new Scouting leaders also, Scoutmaster and Cubmaster. The scouts got to watch a military Parade and Review in the afternoon also, as it was Family Week for visiting NMMI.. Overall, this super Scouting event was a real chance to meet some really special cadets and learn and see how life is at a military school. One leaves with a real impression that America is gaining a lot of special young folks to lead in the years ahead... Very special cadets!! THANK YOU, NMMI!

Thank you so much for the great weekend and activities. Just a couple of things that would have made this better.....I know you are looking for constructive comments.
The movie that first night was a little bit much for the younger scouts of ages 6-9. Thought it might be better to either have a seperate movie for them or to have another choice of film. Also the building was locked and there was a lot of time spent standing around waiting for the door to be unlocked. Also, another suggestion was to have the swimming time later in the day on Saturday. this would have especially been nice with the heat wave. Everything else was very well done. A special thanks to our cadets Justin and Chris. They did an outstanding job and the food was also very
