Several photos of the Lone Jack Battlefield in Lone Jack, Missouri. Taken on a late November day, last year. The Visitor Center was closed up, that day, so I will need to return someday soon. This battlefield is a bit unusual, as the troops that were killed, where buried right on the battlefield. The armies had moved on, and the local populace had to come
and do the burials. This is within the small town of Lone Jack, Missouri.. The last photo is a subdivison sign, on the south side of this battlefield. Battlefield is cared for by the local Lone Jack Historical Society.
