Jack retired from the active practice of architecture and moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina in 1999.
An Ohio native, Jack was raised during the great depression and early on developed passion and skills for creative projects. They purchased little, but with lots of guidance from his grandfather, designed and built most everything from scraps of discarded materials.
He developed a passion for creativity, which became the foundation for his professional career.
While continuing to practice architecture, Jack began to study the art of glass blowing during the 70’s and developed unique techniques to construct sculptured objects and vessels from molten glass. After moving to Hilton Head he began to apply the creative principles of architecture and glass blowing to his newest passion, painting.
Jack's works are showing in galleries at the Art League Of Hilton Head, SC and the Society of Bluffton Artists, SC.
His paintings are in private collections in various states including, California, Ohio, Kentucky, and the Carolinas.
