This gallery is an experiment to allow myself to be looser and more journalistic with my photos, to break out of rigid patterns, not just the 'pretty' things. What better way than on rainy days of a short road trip through southwestern Washington state to the Oregon coast and back!

Love the atmospheric rainy sequence very much!....the soft modulated multi-gray tones are both soothing and dramatic. You accomplished what you wanted.....eg. the looser feel of the images.

thanks for the captions! i remember the road and ocean in summer. so different. i esp. liked the 2 beach/horizon pix.
and the 3 storm on the water sequence.

Yahoo - loose personal "journalism" - yes, the camera is a great diary/journal tool for the little moments in life - the small camera can be a big friend - love your road trip - I enjoy these images very much!
