While walking in the woods, I stopped on a small bridge to take a photo of a creek.
Suddenly, from behind, this big bird swooped about three feet over my head,
landed in a leafed out tree and turned to look at me!

I don't know if it's good or not that you caught this bald eagle's attention! I just read an article about how people in Canada, at least, are trying to protect their small pets from them.
