At Chinese Reconciliation Park in Tacoma. In 1885 the entire Chinese population of Tacoma was forced to leave and Chinatown was burned to the ground.

Similar to the devastation that happened to a successful black part of Oklahoma city in the '20s. A park helps very little I suspect

love the subtle diagonal from tree and the smaller roofs...the lot of Chinese has improved immensely up here due to the multi-cultural mindset of most people...there are however still backwards thinkers with closed minds on race..

Must’ve been horrible for these people. Not a lot has changed since then although it’s not as quite as visible I reckon.
