I’m a Police Car Caterpillar
Which means, when I’m done with being a chrysalis
I’m going to be a Police Car Moth.

Maybe now I look like those flashing lights,
that dreaded ‘Blue Light Special’
but when I’m full grown
I’ll be handsome, sleek and suave.
Black and white.
Just like those police cars of old.
