carbon river road washout

the road to my favorite rain forest. of interest to David, Neil and Marcia since we drove that road in the fall. the road is now closed indefinitely. i didn't take the shot since i couldn't go beyond a barrier.

dramatic...it has been totally undermined, likely by soil erosion...unfortunate you are cut off from that wonderful forest, yet you might now discover another rewarding place.on Rainier .
