I've been experimenting with little stories or poems to go with photos - here's my first one
LICHEN MUSIC:
She googled, she googled some more, and came up with Lecanora conizaeo, Rhiizoplaca chrysoleuca, Lichenochora haematommetu, Double-rim Saucer lichen, and Ochrolechia Oregonenesis. None a perfect ID.
She gave up, realizing it was, as she'd thought all along, the score to a woodland symphony with notes shown on an eight-line staff instead of five. But where were the musicians? Was the music right there for her to hear in that moment by just looking at the notes?
