A beautiful scene, sort of haunting with that unusual light. I would guess eucalyptus, too.

Love this forest of gum trees; this is indeed one to explore. I'll say no more than "Eucalyptus" for an identification: on the basis that it is in northern coastal NSW, has smooth grey bark, and does not appear to be a spotted gum or "apple" (Angophora), it could be one of 26 species of Eucalyptus! But someone with local information can doubtless be more specific.
