waiting for sunset at rialto beach, with view of james island, la push. the bubbles are spindrift, the foam that forms on wave crests during high winds. the innocent looking wave coming in swept up the beach unbelievably fast. this was the last shot taken by my camera (i do have another one now).

Those islands are like fortresses, quite a contrast to the beach and beautiful light on it.

A wonderful coastline shot, appears the same to me as it did years ago. Looks like a big roller coming in.... so disappointing loosing gear though! V
