An Icy Morning or Two

With the temperature around 15F degrees, (-9C) in the early morning, lowest in a series of several days of freeze and slight thaws, I visited a nearby wetland/lake. Year after year the wetland never fails to amaze with the magical artistry of icy water.

I revisited a few days later after another thaw/freeze cycle, and again was in awe of the magic of frozen water.

Wonderful gallery! VOTE! When I see this 'white' pallet of design it just make me think about adding some color. Take a flash with a colored gel and see what happens. Enjoy. This is such a great gallery and to think I grew up in the snow belt and moved to warmer ground. This really makes me wish for ice and snow.....on a short term basis only.
