Baileys End.

East Stratton

Originally two cottages in the village of East Stratton, Hampshire. My Great Grandfather had a shop in the village. My Granddad worked in the Big House a gardener as did my Grandma as maid. The Big House is not there any more, the grounds are now a park. It is not known why the cottage was named Bailey's End as their was no one in when we called in the late 80's

What a great looking building. A lot more detail in the thatch roof that we saw in Denmark.
