Champions On Ice 2004 (Atlanta)

These are pictures from the Champions on Ice 2004 Tour. These pictures were taken @ Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. All pictures were taken with my Nikon D2h and 70-200 VR lens (except for a few with the 85 1.4). All photos are copyright Sean O'Connor and may not be reproduced without written permission of the photographer.

I love your photos!
I shot 9 rolls of ISO 800 film via a Canon EOS 7e and a Sigma 28-300mm lens in Columbus.
95% of your photos look wonderfully better. Congratulations! You must be proud of these pictures!!
I do have a question/comment: different arenas have different lens/camera rules. I'm impressed (and truly happy for you) that the Atlanta arena will allow what our (Columbus, Ohio's) Nationwide Arena considers "pro" equipment. I've tried to bring a faster lens into Nationwide and always am told to return it to my car. Did the Atlanta arena have any special rules in place????

Many of your pictures in the COI gallery are of as good or better quality than those in the COI program. I can't believe you got them from spectator seating. Philips is a beautiful arena that shows off the COI lighting very well.

I was at Atlanta, too. There was someone "officially" videotaping the show a couple of seats away from me. I had gotten a second row club seat a couple of weeks before the show through Ticketmaster, believe it or not.

Anyhow, wonderful photos! Skating can use more like that!
