I'm not sure that I'd want the shadow out. It balances the composition and give the diamond row a base. Maybe leave in the top 1/3 of the shadow?

Beautiful ring. I have to agree with Pam about the gold part of the ring. My eye keeps looking at it and it is a tad distracting.
