I took Jeff's image, and selectively sharpened the left 3 fence posts. This made them more similar in appearance to the other fence posts, and made the shallow DOF less noticeable.

(After viewing the image, it could be argued that the fourth fence post could also use additional sharpening, although less in amount than the first three.)
