Edited by Christine

Approximately 35-40 layers went into this edited version.

Layers each hand-colored by using the eyedropper to grab different colors from the actual image.

The majority of the layers were set to Blend with 'soft-light', varying the opacity to what was needed.

To blend in the hand-colored areas with the rest of the color, each layer was run through gaussian blur, again varying the radius to what was needed.

Grouped all the layers, then merged the group.
Added another layer by clicking: ALT + the new layer icon, changing the blending mode to overlay and clicking the 'Fill with Overlay-neutral color (50% gray) box and changing the opacity to 35.

Using default foreground of black and the paintbrush, went back over some of the black areas and darker areas of the tiger to 'darken/burn' them.
Switching to white foreground, using same technique on the white and lighter areas to lighten/dodge.
Then used gaussian blur on this layer to help blend in with the rest of the colors.

Merged/flattened all layers, went to curves and set each channel individually.

Cropped some of the excess darker areas in the grass off to the right of the tiger when looking at image.

Sent original finished version to Toya, saved. Then resized and saved 2nd version for gallery.
