This was taken in my back yard. I had pulled my hamstring playing soccer and missed most of this years folliage. As this would have been my first season with a real camera I was quite bummed. I did manage to get out at the tail end of things and snapped this shot. My goal was to take an image suitable as wallpaper for my friends who have moved away from the New England area.

This may have been the first day that I finaly started working with the white ballance function on my camera. Now that the winter snow is here I am very pleased that I have the new skill.
