This young couple will be married here in a month. They were showing her parents the location. When I saw them reading the transcription on the sun dial, it said something to me about cycles and time. Then I read the following inscription for myself.

"Martha Florence ("Patty") Shinn. Jan-23-1912 Aug-28-1912. Every hour a memory."
